Ways To Give
Take Stock in Children, the flagship program of the Monroe County Education Foundation, provides Florida Prepaid college scholarships upon high school graduation to qualified 6th-10th grade Monroe County students residing in low-income households. TSIC Monroe is an award-winning model in the State of Florida, a concerted endeavor consisting of over 300 dedicated volunteer mentors and students with a network of individual donors, corporate sponsors and a hardworking staff.
We could not exist without our donors. A donation of $20,329 – together with the 100% State match – will pay all tuition and local fees for 4 college years, and dormitory housing for 2 years for one Monroe County student and forever changing their lives.
There are financial benefits to giving as well. Monroe Education Foundation is a recognized charity, and as such, your gift is likely tax-deductible. You should contact your tax advisor for specific information about the tax benefits of charitable giving. There are also some giving vehicles that offer other financial benefits. Please see our Ways to Give guide for further information
