The Take Stock in Children program of Monroe County is proud to announce the graduation of fifty-eight scholars later this month. The TSIC Class of 2022 represents 10% of the entire Class of 2022 graduating from Monroe County schools. That’s an impressive number! The sixty TSIC scholars are leaving high school with a collective average GPA of 3.661 which is 10% higher than the average GPA of the district’s class of 2022. Again, an impressive statistic! Despite the pandemic, we are thrilled that every Take Stock senior graduated from high school last June, and all 57 graduates from Monroe County have successfully matriculated in their chosen college, university, or trade school. We are even more thrilled to announce that we are expanding. Admitting every eligible student in Monroe, we have already welcomed almost 60 eager sixth and seventh graders, with more to come during this academic year.
